I’m producing a 1 minute commercial that needs 3d fx and some motion graphics. I’m a director/dp/editor/compositor and need someone to do the fx. I know this can be a lot of work so I’m going to try and shoot it to minimize how many fx we need so that we can make the ones we have look great. the budget for 3d is $1-$2k depending on how much of the compositing I have do. The picture twists into a spiral and spins down a virtual
vortex.
CUT TO:
INT. VIRTUAL PIPELINE - DAY
Weaving and dodging other requests, Barryís request
emerges into a virtual computer generated control center.

INT. COMPUTER CONTROL CENTER - DAY
Inside the virtual HQ there are a number of virtual
platforms with CONTROLLERS standing on each one. Each of
the controllers is working on fulfilling requests from
clients.
We zoom into Controller 33 who is waiting for her next
request.
CONTROLLER 33 stands in front of a large translucent
screen, showing a variety of images including a map of
America. The controllerís outfit is very futuristic,
matching the incredible virtual world around her.
The camera is close on Controllers 33ís eyes, they
suddenly change to green then their normal brown, as
Controller 33 wakes from her computerized sleep.
Barryís request lights up in front of her. She taps it
with her finger and reads it. Her voice sounds mostly
human but when she moves her movements make servo sounds
suggesting she is not.
CONTROLLER 33
OK Barry, let me see what I can
find for you.
She turns to a screen on her right and a number of
profiles appear up on the screen.
CONTROLLER 33 (CONT’D)
With 10,000 suppliers, I will need
to search by availability,
delivery time and price.
The controller begins to organize and reject profiles.
Typing incredibly fast on her virtual keyboard, and
moving profiles on the screen
CONTROLLER 33 (CONT’D)
Out of stock…wrong size…too
expensive. These match your
request criteria.
(she begins to flick
profiles into one
bundle on-screen)
Complete. OK Barry these are your
quotes from supply companies who
match your criteria.

She brushes the quote off the screen and the camera zooms
out.
CUT TO:
INT. VIRTUAL PIPELINE - DAY
The quote speeds down the virtual pipeline, spinning and
twisting itís way back to Future Barry.
CUT TO:
INT. SOURCING OFFICE - DAY
The quote pops up on Future Barryís screen - his
computer bleeps. Barry looks up and examines the screen.
