Hi!
I need an artist who is looking for a contract job to work with an existing node setup to create a final parallax effect with some available texture depth maps.
This is a unique project where I have depth maps of an object, and I am attempting to use them to apply a depth effect to a single plane material that is projected within a cube:
I am 90% there, This is the example of the diffuse map being displaced currently.
I need the help of a an expert who is familiar with occluded parallax shaders to help me make my shader work fully!
I hope this is a fairly straightforward fix for some shader ninjas out there.

If only you knew how many times I tried to do it myself and how many solutions I’ve already searched through on the internet X D
Maybe I might scour the internet again. Congratulations on achieving so much as you show in the gif!

thanks for the kudos. I feel I am pretty close, this is a variation on traditional occluded parallax, in this example, it is occurring “within” a cube. The idea is to use parallax to generate a type of volumetics with parallax… if that makes sense…
Just to be clear - I’m a lousy programmer X D. I simply do it like this, I take a solution from a tutorial and then experiment with it blindly, until I get a satisfactory effect
I respect that you understand this topic at all : )

much appreciated. Luckily, I have received an offer from a talented artist to help. So I am closing the posting for now.
