''Neighbor''

Hello everyone!
I have just joined the Blender forum and wanted to share my latest 3D work.

I made this Character for my solo exhibition ‘‘Neighbors’’.
The main goal was to produce a life size, detailed, photo-realistic character in print size (1.8 x 1 m) that would relate with the rest of the exhibitions pieces.
The process was challenging for many reasons. First of all being that I am relatively new to Blender (switched from MAYA) second I had never done such huge render and didn’t know how Blender would handle it.

I am glad to tell that it went better then I expected and Blender is awesome!
Most of the 3D part is done in Blender except cloth simulation in Marvelous Designer & textures in Photoshop.

Creepy. I like it.

Is this a Zombie neighbor:eek:

Great result! And yes, that’s creepy.

Good! Hard work on clothes.

Welcome to the forum! What an excellent thread this is to have as your first post!

Awesome, You have achieved a very distressing atmosphere here. I’ll be having nightmares about this guy tonight!

His face almost looks like it has been painted by salvador dali! Very creative work on the facial anatomy

Great work man. The clothing and plastic bag materials are VERY well done. And all the elements of this composition work really well together.

Thanks everyone!
Here is some closeups:

this is pretty outstanding. I would be curious about your workflow, particularly for the clothes (and final rendering?)

Great work! Very ugly dude! Great modeling!

Love the execution and lighting! Not too keen on the face and feet, but still pretty fresh looking pic!

Looks more like an alien zombie. Nice render.

Wow this is beyond amazing. And it is very interesting too.!!
