Net Render output black?

Hi all

Recently just started using the built in net render in blender 2.67b.
After doing some test renders I realised that the output files are black and are a .exr the thumb nails are normal?

I have gone into the .py files in the net render and changed the output .exr to .jpg but then it fails to download?

Help!

Managed to get a slave which was the client as well to output as a .jpeg into a folder using the output node but cannot get other separate computer slaves to output to the same place. I also tried the output node to get them to output on their desktop but nothing.

Why is this so hard!
