nevermind

i want to make a groop of robots moving the exact same way. when i duplicate the complete robot with keyframes the duplicate goes to the position of the original object.

is there a way to shift the locations of the keyframes to the new location?

%| Umm, I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I just did a small test and quickly assigned two armatures to a cube that could bend in the middle. After inserted keyframes for the original one (about 3). I duplicated them using “shift d” and when “alt a” is pressed, they all move fine. It doesn’t go to the position of the original object.

Make sure you actually selected the armature and the mesh together (use shift select) and then make the duplicate. I can’t see what the problem could be. Post your .blend file so we can see what the problem is.

just set your original keyframes in pose mode, then duplicate the whole deal a bunch of times, place them as you like, and parent them all to an empty for general synchronious movement…
