New Add-on: SUPER SOLID MODE

JUST UPDATED TO v4 NOW IT WORKS WAY BETTER!

Totally Awesome NEW ADD-ON … Makes Blender do something it doesn’t do default… Make the Viewport look awesome in Solid “Texture” Mode by selecting the Diffuse Image Texture Node on all the Materials in your File to make it the Active Node. I was making tutorial that was gonna take 18 minutes and show how to do this the standard way on all the materials in your file…showing all the different things you might run into…and how to do it efficiently…when I came up with the idea just write an Add-on! It’s available on Gumroad.com at this link:

*** for a limited time this Add-on is Free on GumRoad! so people can get their hands on it and try it out!..enjoy!***

Any issues post here and I’ll get to them as soon as possible.

Now you can ANIMATE YOUR CHARACTERS in Solid Mode and get a better result…because:

You’re using the diffuse textures to display your model in solid mode if you add in a Mat Cap it’ll look even better.

If you also follow this other tutorial of mine https://youtu.be/pl1hRpd2-sM you’ll be getting real time character animation in solid mode even on high Poly characters maybe not too high Poly, haven’t tested with over 16,000 faces

One of the main secrets to character animation is being able to match the way the animation looks to your background…now you could pimp solid mode with this add-on, so it’s a good representation of material preview mode in one click, and facilitate doing that correctly, while animating your character in real time which is important to get the flow of the animation…with my above tutorial.

(Note)
I’m in the process of developing a tutorial series called CREATING A SITCOM IN BLENDER that’ll be about extreme high production of content…EXTREME HIGH PRODUCTION… Should start to release the first part in the next week or so so keep an eye on my channel https://youtube.com/@toapyandfriends and keep checking back because I’m gonna have a lot of genius tips on there about saving a CRUD-LOAD of MOUSE-CLICKS

I think DIFFEOMORPHIC…the best add on to transfer Daz Studio Characters to Blender…MIGHT BE IMPLEMENTING MY CODE/Idea!! () Let me know what you think it’s at this link https://bitbucket.org/Diffeomorphic/import_daz/issues/1283/may-i-suggest-adding-the-functionality-of And if so I think Blender might want to hear that then I might get a addon into Blender…and this might just be THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!(:laughing::laughing::laughing:)
