Here is my first finished work that I deem worthy of posting on BlenderArtists. 
The Trolley and the Crow are not my models, they are off turbosquid and Blendswap respectively, so you can tell me off for that! I hope you like it, :ba:
I’ve seen that grass; I’ve seen that sky texture and I’ve seen that trolley. But still, you could’ve enhanced the image with some color correction. Its not bad though. Quite OK for a first.

I like it. But I would also like to see the same scene rendered in a different size, like Pano. Can we see a wire of the tree and can you tell me how you made it?

Ok what resolution do you want? Is there a standard for panoramic scenes?
Here is the wire frame of the tree, I made it by sizing cylinders along curves to create the branches and at the base I just selected some of the verts and extruded them out and out to made the roots. I didn’t do a very good job, but its purpose was to sit in the distance almost silhouetted so I didn’t need to.

Like a verrrrrrrrry light touch of the sky color on the grass and the trolley, cause right now the light from the atmosphere has no effect on the objects. Or maybe thats just me.

Hey I like 1152x 352 reso for that. I think it would look great in a nice wide view. Thanks for sharing how you made the branch system. I really like the tree. Keep modeling! Cheers
please, take away the chromatic aberration. also, the sky is warped, like it’s on a sphere that’s too close.
the terrain is boring.
but otherwise, it’s fine.

I like the lense distort! I will make it more subtle though!
Hmmm, I am struggling to get all of the scene into place so it still looks ok on a panoramic scale, I don’t think it will work 
the renders I am doing with the improvements haven’t looked like an improvement so I think I will leave it how it is. Thanks for the crits, I will post in the WIP forum first next time

I think it looks good; it could use a little purple cast to match the sky as already suggested, but the main thing I don’t like about it is the shopping cart, it looks like you just threw it in there as an afterthought and it doesn’t belong in the image.
Still a nice image, perfect for a desktop wallpaper.
I do agree with all the crits. I think I will leave this be and come back when I have worked on my composition some more! I think that is one of my main problems, I sort of blindly go into a project without thinking how it will draw the eye in.

actually it’s blender internal with ao set to 1. And I wasn’t giving a crit as much as saying hey it’d look even better with another shot. I think it’s great. When it comes to Blender, for me understanding seems to come in great leaps and bounds. one day I suddenly just get it. Anyway, keep modeling. Your grass is great. Even if it came from a tut, it’s still great.
And I too go blindly into projects. I have all kinds of WIPs. I only have on finished project, and that was for the cover of my book.

I like the fence, grass and the tree, but the crow and trolley seem out of place to me. Any grazing animal would fit nicely i think.
