I have decided to do this so I can keep this forum clean and keep all speed painting together in one place.
Obviously, this section would be pointless without a speedpainting wouldn’t it? So, hence, here is my first speedpainting.
Who would be more than a mere hero than one who defends an anciet temple?

OneMan, I didn’t use just one color. The main colors I used are: Umber (dull gold), orange, red, and yellow-green. And yes, it was painted in 30 min.

Thank you! I actually discovered that style by an accident. I was doing a speedpainting for that hero artwork and I found a brush to use for that and it works awesome. I’ll have to see what kind of brush I use for that, but it’s the “real” version of oil painting (new feature) in painter ix. If you are curious, please let me know and I’ll take a look.
I can make a walkthrough if you are that curious too. I don’t know how, but I’m sure I’ll find a way to do that.
These are nice - I love the style. A short comic (one or two pager) done in that style would be a great portfolio piece. Or they’d work excellently for a storyboard.
I especially love the texture and handling of light in the second one.
I like the second painting better. The contrasting colors really make it stand out. Nice job =)

Nice work as always, although this strikes me as being a little… blurry.
The concept/view/presentation is good aside from the bluriness. Especially around the top of the image it becomes a little bit more indistinct as to what’s what. Not to the point where it’s indiscernible or anything, just less clear than the bottom. I really like your Speedpainting though, please keep posting them.
