new attempt with cycles for a realistic render...

i’m trying to render realistically some furnitures with cycles.
for the moment i need to find a new setting with ao and to make some spot light for the print in the background.
if someone knows how to make spotlight with cycles, any advice is welcome…

I think the part with IES Lighting could be interesting for you.

I like it! The design if the furniture is a big advantage of this picture. Also most of the materials look good.

Apart from lighting, what in my opinion you could improve is:

  • the seat material on the chairs: maybe a displacement map?
  • the material of the wall: probably bump mapping.
