New Caustics

So I’ve played with the new caustics in 3.1, and it looks promising. However, it darkens transparency, can kill specular, and if you make a transparent glossy object both a catcher and receiver, it kills the transparency and glossy. I know, very much alpha, and I’m looking forward to developments.

Oh, and up to now, increases render time by an order of magnitude. I have a very simple model that will render in 50 seconds, goes up to 13 minutes with caustics (especially if I make the object a caster and a receiver), but hopefully the guys will fix all that :slight_smile:

Looking promising, though.
