Hey everyone, I’d like to share my new renderings I did for the latest chocofur models release. It’s Blender + Cycles and very minimal post production in Photoshop. There are also 7 new free models available for everyone to download from the chocofur store. Really hope you like it!!!
I also got some requests from other Blender users to share my knowledge about studio setup I’ve used for making all of the white background renderings. On chocofur.comyou can now find a Tutorial section where I describe the whole process and share some .blend files with you.
They’re all very good but I especially like the one with the black and white trees poster - very clean.
Thanks also the tutorials - I’ve only just skimmed but I can see straight away that you’re gone into some nice detail and the setup for the studio is very good using reflected light much as a photographer would.
BTW I was poking round your portfolio and have to ask - do you only work in blender as some of the stuff in there is outstanding!
Thanks for the models, I’m trying to learn how to make decent fabric couches and it will be really cool to see how you have everything set up. Also, your studio model tutorials are great! Just the right amount of detail to allow you to recreate things without getting bogged down in a bunch of step by step nonsense that is hard to read. Can’t wait for your interior arch-viz tutorial. I’m just getting started in blender and I’m sure I would learn a ton.
cekuhnen - I really hope to release interior tutorial as soon as possible, but it really requires much more work than I previously thought… What I was planning would be releasing it in two parts - first covering camera matching and modeling techniques, second which would be obviously more interesting, describing texturing, lighting, rendering and post-production.
Without announcing any fixed dates, I would really like to finish it by the end of March…
