is there someone who has a list of the new constraints and how to use them in the new demo? Well, some of these may not be new but theyre new to me so… I know:
P2p, thats like little spheres in a chain
and the ragdoll constraint.
What are others?
I know there is a hinge contraint as well but I don’t know how to use it.
oh yeah…Me neither…
did you already download physics-demos-preview34? It is provided from the blender.org website:
http://blender.org/cms/Newsitem.607+M529ce3a8052.0.html
it has ‘hinge.blend’.
Also bigwheel uses hinge:
http://www.continuousphysics.com/ftp/pub/test/index.php?dir=blender/&file=bigwheel.blend
basically, hinge adds a rotation(hinge) axis to the point to point constraint. For example most doors are ‘hinged’. You specify the hinge axis and one anchor point.
Hope this helps,
some better tutorial would be handy indeed…
