New Desktop - Is this a good choice?

Hi,
I am planning to build a new desktop and would like to know my choice of components is good or if someone has better options.
My main problem is finding out if the mainboard is able to accomodate two RTX 3090 with NVLink.

  • CPU: Intel Core i7 12700K
  • Mainboard: MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk DDR4
  • RAM: A total of 128GB: Two Patriot DIMM 64GB DDR4 3200 Kit (CL16 18-18-36)
  • GPUs: I want to upgrade to one or two RTX 3090 (or equivalent) in a year or so but for now will use the 2070 and 2080 which are in my current desktop
  • PSU: be quiet!Straight Power 11 Platinum 1200W
  • CPU cooling: Corsair iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT 240mm water cooler
  • Case: Thermaltake Level 20 MT ARGB, ATX Tower

It looks pretty good to me. I believe you can survive with that.

Do you happen to know if the mainboard can hold two RTX 3090 with NVLink?

It is really difficult to find information online about NVLinked 3090s.
Did NVidia drop support for NVLink? Some websites are saying so. But NVLink can still be found on the NVidia website. Is support perhaps only dropped for gamer cards and only continued for cards like the Quadros?

Hoping that someone can answer you here, in the meantime maybe you could ask Youtube users who have a similar hardware configuration:
