Using Blender 4.1 on Linux:
I did some switches to Eevee from Eevee Legacy and got problems (hair made from meshes (cards) with transparency looks grainy). I fiddled around with some settings, but could not get better results without sacrificing a lot of performance.
Is it as it is (Eevve Legacy is not Legacy at all) or did I miss some tricks and settings hacks, which are needed to make Eevee outperforn its “Legacy” silbling?
What is needed to replace Eevee Legacy with Eevee?
In my opinion, the new Eevee is not yet a full replacement. At least, for my use cases, it’s not useable yet.
It doesn’t have full feature parity and some features are still buggy (like pixellated shadows). The performance is also not very good, hopefully it will improve in the future.
