We have enabled a new site feature: reply by email. It does exactly what the name suggests: when you receive a notification mail, you can now just hit the reply button in your email client, write your response and send it. Discourse will receive it and post it under your account in the topic, even linking it to the specific post that you’re replying to.
Two notes:
- this will only work for notifications that are sent as of now
- signatures that use common formats (like starting with
--) will be stripped out. If you use something non-standard there’s a small chance your signature will get included as well, so be sure to check this the first time you use this feature.
