Ok here’s what I came up with.
Could also make the title offset like this.
I made the ads just slightly smaller so that three can fit nicely (this also makes the height of the banner a little smaller and less intrusive). I also am realizing that it would look better if all the thumbnails had the same aspect ratio, not sure if you want to create/adjust rules for ad thumbnails.

If you don’t like ads, it’s 8 cents a day to never see them again on this site as a Patreon subscriber
I’ll be adding that feature to these new cards this weekend 
Looks great! I feel like the title should be vertically centered on the border line though.

In-stream and sidebar ads are removed for our Patreon supporters 
I just had to do a hard refresh to get this working, but the patreon support does indeed remove all ads! No ads at all! For barely any money at all! And no guilty feeling of just using an add blocker!

I think the friends of Blender Artists banners are looking great! My only thought is perhaps consider making it a b bit smaller so it ends at the same place post text / controls do, rather than the entire page width?
I would ask commentors and readers to take a similar stock as yours of what they’ve gained from this site. I know some of the people that have replied here have gained hundreds of subscribers to Their YouTube channels from sharing their videos here. Is that worth $2.50 a month? I’d say so.
