New guy with 2 questions about mouse and view manipulation

Hi, I’m new here and I have a couple of questions.

  1. In some tutorials I’ve seen the mouse cursor wrap around the view when moving objects or panning or whatever. My mouse doesn’t do that. It just stops at the side of the screen. I’ve looked for setting, but couldn’t find one. Does this feature exist, or was I imagining it?

  2. Is there any way to manipulate the view while you’re in a transform mode?

Thanks in advance for answering these, or any future questions. I’m sure there will be more someday.

  1. This is called Continuous Grab. You can enable it in the Input section of User Preferences.

  2. No.

Thanks. It seems so obvious now. I can’t believe I spent 45 minutes looking through the preferences for the word “wrap”.

Yes, don’t search too long when you meet your next problem. Just ask here, and move on to something else. It took me a while to figure that out. The sum total of all Blender knowledge is on these forums, and I’ve rarely seen a question asked and not answered.

Welcome to the forum.

Fixed my issue, I thought it was an update problem.
