Hi, http://www.pjirc.com/main.php seems to be a very good java applet irc client. It’s open-source, free and seems to be better then the shareware one ba.org is using at the moment

Yeah Joeedh… It’s the client used at http://smc-connect.freehostia.com/ (for newbies to SMC), and it’s great for those without a full IRC Client.
You’re right, we should replace the BA.org one, but just go to the link above, and you can use the /join command to join other channels. I use it all the time, whenever I’m not at the computer with my actual IRC Client
