New Lad needs help

Hello, I’m very new to blender (First Week) and over the last couple of days i’ve knocked up this pool table, only problem is i don’t really know how to render good yet or set a scene. Could someone please give some suggestions and explain how to do it.

If anyone is interested in helping i can send the blender file if they give me there email

Umm… add floor… walls… for the starters… Nice pool table by the way.

thanks for the suggestion, i’ve tried the walls floors etc but when i render it, the back corner of the room disappears, spent hours trying to figure it out playing with settings and going through tutorials but still can’t seem to find a solution.Picture just looks so crap. How do you make drawings look pro?

have you tried adjusting the clipend of the camera?
[select the camera then go to the edit buttons to change the setting]

also, even if your post was right in refrencing an image on geocities most people wouldn’t see it because geocities doesn’t allow that
[they don’t allow their images to be refrenced or linked to directly by pages on other servers]

OMG thanks that was annoying me so much.

Oh ok, do you know of any other means of uploading an image

I like it - i was planning on doing a pool table too! About your pool table (i may be wrong) but there is a practical problem - there aren’t two red balls and why aren’t there any striped one? If you need help making two materials to do that send me a pm.

As to image hosting i use imageshack.us put you can use countless others! They are free to host and the file size is 850kb!

Also be sure to get the right link if you plan on puting the image directly in to the post! Nice work!
