New line in text editor

Hi there!

I have a problem. Pressing the enter key in the text editor to start a new line does nothing at all. This happens with both v2.49b and 2.5 beta. It works fine on my linux workstation at school. The problem computer is a Toshiba P330 laptop running Windows Vista and my graphics card is an ATI Radeon HD 3650 with all the updated drivers.

Please help! Iā€™m so sick of copying and pasting text from an external editor :frowning:

I worked it out! The num lock key has to be OFF for the regular enter key to work. How strange!
