I’m a new member from Japan. Hello.
I’d started learning Blender since January 2016.
It is indeed an interesting application and I’m enjoying learning.
Before Blender, I used to use a 3D modeling software called “Metasequoia”, which is not well-known. (Well, I’m still using it as well as Blender).
Since there still are loads of things I don’t know about Blender, I’d love to ask many questions here.
I hope to improve my Blender skills for more advanced 3D modeling.

You found the right place. Many of the subforums have sticky threads that tell you how to ask questions. I would advise you check them out first.

I started using Blender in May 2012. I consider myself an intermediate but I’m a level 9 in enthusiasm for Blender.

^^^@latch: Level 9? Well don’t worry, because once you get past the first gym leader, Enthusiasm evolves into Addiction at level 16, and again into Blender Worship at level 36. You should have plenty of time to reach the final evolution before you challenge the Elite 4. :wink:

Hi, James. Hope you enjoy your stay here. And to answer your question, no, you don’t have to create an intro thread. It’s just something people do to get to know each other, but a simple hi would do.
