New OGRE Meshes Exporter

The refactoring of the OGRE Meshes Exporter is finally done:

It supports:

  • static and animated meshes
  • armature and shape animations
  • vertex colours, multiple materials, uv textures, normal maps, blend modes, …The script comes with its own gui system on top of BPy, which might be interesting for other script developers too.

Un Saludo

Thanks RC, they had forgotten the most important part of the info, links! :wink:

Very good point! :slight_smile:

:wink: it happens :slight_smile:

What version of Python is required to use this script? I’m using Blender 2.42a for OS X (MacIntel Build) which uses Python 2.3 and when I run the script I get this error:

Compiled with Python version 2.3.
Checking for installed Python... got it!
  File "<string>", line 820
    @staticmethod
    ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Old script has feature to scale and rotate objects. Is this possible to do this in this new script? Also, can I set local or world coordinatest to export? I’m using these features quite often.
