AMD K6 500Mhz, 120MB RAM, 12.5GB hard drive
Trident Blade 3D MVP4 and super mega ultra ESS Allegro integrated sound thingy 
(damn, i need a new PC, and i need it NOW!)
Can anyone reccomed a good mother board that would allow me to go upward with better AMD cpus in the future. Money is limitied now, so I am thinking of a approx 1.8 ghz AMD cpu BUT I would like to go upward later next year. ALSO it is essentail that they MB have no problems with the ATI RADEON ALL-IN-Wonder vid board.

how long were your rendering times on your old PC compaired to what they are now? I have some render times going up into the hours…NOW who needs a new PC :x

I’ve just got 1 issue with that computer,… which is the geforce 4mx (I’m really not a fan of the 4mx series :))

Well… it was most likely a bad disk crash…
they should come this morning, take the baby, go to the clinic, change disk/controller/motherboard/whatever and bring it back…

ummmm unless u just want it for blender do not get a gf4mx as the radeon 9000 is more powerful and cheeper altough i don’t know how it will work with blender
