New Project.

This is the first time I’ve tried to model a person. He looks weird, but thats ok, cause it fits in with the project I have planed for him. I’m not too worried about the eyes and the nose cause they will be covered in the final project. And the crotch will be covered to so don’t make any ken doll comments. I’ll tell you one thing though, I never realised how hard it is to model an arse.

The neck looks kinda funny, I’ll have to fix that.

A good start. Much better than my first human came out.

Did you use the Box modeling technique?

Good work so far,

Sonix.

good stuff, but he needs elbows and much much longer arms - your elbows reach your hips, and your hands mid thigh.

I sat down with my bro, and we discussed what was wrong with it, and I tweeked it a little, I also tried to fix the arms, thanks Shapeshift. Heres how its come out.

The head, hands, and feet started out as cubes and where subdevided into and tweaked into the shape they are. They were done after the body, and if I were to do the body again I would use this technique. To do the body I had a plane with no face, subdevided it heeps, and then extruded, and tweeked each cross section one at a time… NEVER AGAIN!!!

better,

add more verts around the elbows now, that area needs to be much more defined.

the chest / shoulder area should be much thinner.

Ok, so more verts on the elbows, less broad, and thinner shoulders, pecs lfted a little and knee caps fixed up a little bit.

Thanks for the help.
