For those not familiar with Stack Exchange, it’s a Question and Answer site which is very effective when it comes to getting questions answered quickly and efficiently. It’s a very valuable resource to have on any subject.
Sites are created on a specific subject, like programming, Math, Game development, photography, etc. but only when there is enough interest: Sites are proposed, people commit to it, the site goes in beta mode and when they reach critical mass, they go live.
Have a look at the existing Stack Exchange sites (search “Stack Exchange” on Google, I can’t post enough links here)
Right now, there is a proposal for a Stack Exchange site on 3D graphics which I think deserves some support.
