New sequencer plugins from "Friday or another day"

Hi !

Here they are some sequencer plugins from my work on “Friday or another day” feature film. I’ve developed these plugins to composite sequenced layer from 3D Blenderized SFX and 35mm live shooting.

There are :

All plugins are packaged,
here

holy cow, that’s alot of plugins!

thank you very much, as promised at the blender conference you released all your plug in.

your work with blender is impressive, thank you again for the nice show

Thank you very much.

Martin

wow, this is just fantastic, thankyou very much!

your work was a joy to experience and learn form at the Blender Conference, thankyou again =D

And how does one use a C File as a plugin?

It’s great that you’re willing to share these and the last thing that I want to do is ask more, but are there any docs to explain the basic uses of these plugins?

If not, I’m sure we can figure them out, thanks for your contribution of these plugins to the community.

Hi Marc,

what license are these under? If they are under a GPL compatible license I can try and get them bundled in for the next release (or the one after).

Linux building: http://web.netrevolution.com/gbeloin/muplug_linux_i386.tar.gz

Windows will follow shortly.

For windows, only blur is not in the archive because it crashes Blender : http://lguillaume.suidzer0.org/bin/Umbroth_plugins_windows.zip

Lots of filters there No real examples though :frowning:

youngbatcat,

he wrote the filters because he needed them for movie work he was doing - i seriously doubt he’s interested in writing a bunch more filters for fun.

just asking, ya dont have to bite my head off :stuck_out_tongue:

you realize that coreimage is a mac thing only, that is bassed on hardware, so you wouldnt be able to use them on a pc or linux.

Lguillaume: what did you compile with for windows? ive tried a few times before but have never been able to get sequence plugins working in cygwin.

marc:
these plugins are great, shows what simple effects can be used for with such great results. im an editor, mainly in FCP, but i realy cant wait for the day that ill be able to edit in blender.

also enjoyed the presentation you gave at blenderconf.

I use LCC compiler, look http://www.hdl.co.za/donn/#foo for instructions.

I confirm they are under GPL license. You can insert GPL reference into the bundled code.

Wonderful work, Marc, and again thanks a lot for releasing under GPL all this.

Hello, what compiler do you use under windows, LCC or another tools?

somebody?

jahshaka claims it has gpu fx stuff, too.

Jahshaka claims a lot of thing but we see nothing.
I don’t like to disparage about open software, but here it’s pretty disappointing.
Better doing little things than to claim like Ads unexisting stuff.

Umbroth, thank you for your “ProductionProof” plugins

cheers
