Hi guys,
First post. New to blender.
So I followed some tracking tutorials on creating markers and then reconstructing a scene according to a movie clip. Now I just did a basic 3d extruded text in my scene, which pans around with my camera and looks like it fits my scene fine. Next I added a floor underneath to catch the shadows from the lamp hitting the text.
When I go to render, I can’t figure how to remove the movie clip. I want to render only the text and the camera moving around the text, and put the rendered movie file into a compositor to composite the text and video together. I don’t want to render together, because there are some parts where I want to mask out things.
Anyhow, I also see when I render the image, the text is transparent like 50% see through. The material I gave it was diffuse. I tried 1.00 roughness, as well as 0. Also, when I try to change the texture of the text to something like Wood, it also changes the floor object to the same texture. They are both tied together. Can’t change one without the other.
I tried to disable background or foreground, but it seems, in the end, I can’t get the result I want.
Lastly, what if I were to track my footage in another tracking program such as Adobe After Effects. Is there a way to have the camera and track points imported into Blender?
Thank you all!
