Hi everyone,
I come from Modo so the texturing in Blender is quite a bit different.
I am trying to apply a stone texture, it’s a rectangular pattern. I have watched at least 4 YouTube tutorials, Andrew price etc.
I am unable to UV map these walls. When I unwrap it, I’ve tried different unwraps I can’t seem to get something usable. I’m sure for an experienced user this should be easy but I spent the last 4 hours with no luck. I am learning Blender because of Cycles assuming I can get the UV down to a science. I do mostly Archviz. In Modo sometimes I simply use Cubic and make a front, back, left, right textures that are identicle when I have trouble the just use each texture accordingly - I don’t see basic texturing in Cycles, like Cubic, Planar, Cylinder, etc.?
Thanks in advance for any insight on how to approach this.
