This graphic is part of my new website i made it in Blender and YafRay with a little tweaking in photoshop. The idea is to use a combination of old fashioned television tubes and combine it with a LED/LCD/PIXEL type display. The back of the TV tubes have a snake like extension which wil connect to front wirering, it wil be part of the interface. The design is still under heavy construction and it will be a while before i upload the new website.
My current website needs some serious re-designing, it has been “temporary” for over a year now. %|
Crits anyone?
Well, ok, I’m just 17 years old, but I’ve got some experiences in Internet and Homepages.
I think, that the picture itself ist really not bad:
[list]You got a good idea. You have an ingeresting background. You have a nice material for the glass on the monitors. And last, but not least: you modeled it great!
But for the use as a Homepage the amazing Environmentmaping of each monitor and so on is, I mean, too overloading the Homepage.
In my opinion, well I thinks so… you should use a material s reflecting.
It confuses the Homepage user’s mind. Try it with farnished silver or that silver of Quicktime. You know, I like it.
Yeah, well. I know that your HP will become a nive one and everybody who came on yours will remember it.
I’am planning to scale down the monitors and add more graphic elements for navigation ect. I just couldnt resist to render the whole thing at full rez . I am planning to use this image for the welcome screen of the site, but the overal design will be more discreet. My web page wil contain more than just 3D animation so it’s not going to be all shiny things. My site is still in the conceptual phase so anything can happen.
