Here’s a new project (second one) I’ve been working on. It’s still far from completion. I haven’t added lights yet, so sorry if it looks kinda dark. I’m still in the modeling stage, adding all the necessary components and experimenting. Just wanted to show what I’ve been upto.
I think it not only looks empty because there’s nothing out the window but the room looks a bit emty and boring. Maybe, you could put a picture at work or an empty canvas spread across the table. You should also add shadows and make the lighting more intresting overall. Here’s a link to a good Blender lighting tut that shows different ways to light a scene w/ a window:
Thanks for all your inputs, but like I said before, I’m still in the modeling stage. Haven’t added lighting yet. Experimenting with some stuff. Will post the finished work sometime soon.
Trying to finalize on the modeling and playing around with lighting.
Sorry that the materials don’t appear in this pic. Posting this image from work and I didn’t bring all the necessary image files with me. Will post another update with that soon.
it’s better. I’d work this way:
-make a basic light-setup.
-modelling (NO materials at all!)
-finally material/lightning. this belongs to each other imo.
