[Newbie] Gold & Silver Texture

Hi,

I’d like to design rings but my textures look really bad.

Does anybody knows good texture parameters (or link, or tutorials) to obtain gold, silver textures.

I’d also like to be able to design any jewel texture (diamond, sapphire, ruby).

Thanks a lot for any help.
