Hi, I’m still new with Blender.
Here’s a pretty simple question…
I’d like to model a tin can with a large hole on one side.
when I try to use booleans with two cylinders, for some reason, the hole goes right through the other side. anybody have any idea why i can’t just cut a hole out of one side? or would I be better off trying to build “around” the hole?
What do you experts usually do when you want to cut a hole out of something?
Did you put the cylinder all the way through the other? If you did yea you’re going to get two holes. Move the cylinder so that one end is in the can and the other is out, then try it
