Newbie question, how to set other views at the viewport?

I am having difficulty setting other views at the view port apart from the Front, Side and Top views. I would like to set Back and Bottom views with the grid on, how do I do that?

back view is Control 1
bottom view is Control 7
in other words, control plus a numpad number is what you are looking for.

Also once you get the interface setup the way you like hit CTRL-U to save your settings for when you start a new file
