On some of my doors inside my house there is a wood triming board. I got the outline of the board down now but, still need to put the grooves on there to be the same. Any idea on how I can achieve this.

The wood is called door casing.
You could make them using extruded curves or by making a 2d Mesh and extruding that.
How would I do that? I guess I made the casing with a block.
Is there any way you can extrude a curve on a square or plane or would I need to start out with a curve surface make the casing then do an edge loop inside it?
Still kind of puzzeled how to do this using curve is there any tutorials out there?
