newest ipod accessory - crazy or not

the newest ipod accessory iCarta

do you think its just plain Nuts

basicly if you dont know its a toilet paper roll with speakers and a dock for the ipod

i think its crazy

do you?

Nope. It charges your ipod while you are in the bathroom, has moisture-resistant speakers and it saves you holding your ipod while plopping, which naturally has the risk of you dropping it in. Similarly, if you are in the bath.

I’d say it’s a pretty good product.

Holy cow. Good product? Well, maybe, but it’s a weird good product, if anything XD.

ok i didnt think about the bath/shower i dont konw why either but that could be a good use for it some folks like ot listen to music while showering

i still however say its a bit crazy though just not as much as befor lol

Get a PDA. Thousands of times better than an ipod, and you can still listen to music on it.

Hmm, I don’t recall ever seeing a 60GB PDA. Most of them (even ones that are £350+) only have about 64MB internal memory with flash card support.

Saying that is like saying a PC is thousands of times better than a PS2. In some ways it is but some people don’t want a computer when they just want to listen to music.

Plus what really sets the ipod apart is the integration with itunes, music organisation and the music store.

My Dad has a PDA (£60) and my brother has an ipod photo (£170) and sure my dad’s PDA does play music, record sound, plays small movie clips, does photos, takes notes etc. but it won’t ever hold 15,000 songs and that’s all my brother cares about. That and hooking it up to his car stereo.

pda’s might have a bit small internal memory but usualy there always expandable via sd memory or other flash media

i dont believe ipods are

I’ve seen 100 gigabyte PDAs. $500.

The reason why it was cheap was because the screen was broken.

I can appreciate being able to keep your iPod safe, but really, is music really necessary when you go to the bathroom?

That’s awesome, I would use it all the time if I had one.

How about using some of the amazing technologies we have at our disposal today to solve a relevant problem.

I mean this is just rediculus.

I had a feeling you would say that social.

Speaking of technology solving relevant problems… here’s a little plug for an organization I’m a part of:

Engineers Without Borders

What model was it? I looked at loads of tech stores and they didn’t have any PDAs with HDs.

The ipod can run other apps too. Half-life anyone?:

I guess it depends on how long you’re in there. I don’t care for it because I only take a few minutes but other members of my family take longer. Plus if you want to take a romantic bath with your girlfriend, you can easily set up some nice playlists and you’re good to go. Possibly you want to meditate with sounds of the ocean.

I dunno but it seems over the past few years, music has a new appeal. I never really bothered about music at all but I find myself building up a library of tracks in itunes or rather sifting the crap out of my copy of my brother’s 7000+ song collection.
