Hey there,
I just started with Blender and already have some trouble, I am currently following blenderguru’s 4.0 Blender tutorial and I tried adding a new mesh (Cone for the monkey hat) and it will not show up, I have not changed the settings except the size of my interface and the camera to view setting. Any help is appreciated as i really want to learn this program.
Learn how to use the basics of blender and start
Or watch the lecture carefully.
I think blenderguru is not a lecture for beginners.
Basic learning is required.

Welcome …
… it does not show in the outliner ??
Do you see the 3D cursor in the viewport ? Because there is where it will be positioned.
Hi, when you add a new object it will appear in the same place as the last object so it is possible that it’s inside the monkey’s head?
It is showing up in the list of objects but not in the actual 3D Environment.
Select it in the outliner and then hit Numpad . or Menu → View → Frame Selected… and the simple move it ( G mouse move )… maybe it’s hidden by some other object as @digitvisions suggested.
You might want to make sure your object hasn’t been accidentally hidden. To the right of the object name in the outliner, make sure the “eye”-icon is lit up. While in Object Mode you can also press Alt+H to unhide all objects in your scene, or go to Object > Show/Hide > Show Hidden Objects
If your 3D Cursor (this is where new objects will appear as you add them) has been accidentally moved, you can reset it to its starting position by pressing Shift+C or hold Shift while right-clicking in the 3D Viewport to place the cursor at any position you want.
You’re probably in local view, press numpad /
I found it, it was moved away because i moved the curser point
See ?
That’s part of the learning curve.
