NGplant and Blender

Hi guys,

new to the forum so nice to meet y’all :smiley:

anyway, to cut to the chase, I’m trying to model vegetation in NGplant for use in blender and subsequently to be rendered in Octane. The problem is that the .obj mesh that NGplant exports seems to be fused in Blender, so I’m not able to texture properly; it actually wont let me edit materials or textures at all.

However, when I import that .obj directly to Octane it works just fine; specifically the material distinctions have somehow made it to Octane but not to blender?

I used this workflow in the past (last year) and am running a new system now, but I can’t crack what exactly is going wrong between NGplant and Blender.

Any help would be appreciated!
