After ten years of doing 3D, my eyes are just not what they used to be. Is there any way to make the darn cursors bigger and/or more contrasty? The “Large Cursors” option just doesn’t do enough, I’m afraid, particularly the near-invisible selection cursor. Is there a script out there or something?
If you’re on windoze you can choose Magnified or one of the other options from Pointers in the Mouse settings in Control Panel.
Isn’t it possible to change the cursor’s color in the User preferences screen?
Not sure, though.
Dunno about changing cursor color in Prefs. If it’s there, I couldn’t find it. Anyway, the “magnify” option in Windows makes it a bunch easier. Thanks! I would have tried it earlier except I was convinced Blender’s settings would override it…Preemptively stupid, that’s me.
I changed the background color to a darker gray, that helped alot.
Here is a nice little open source app. Lots of features. If you use it in dynamic mode you can
click through the magnified area. Hope this helps.
Heh, I upgraded to the latest version and the dynamic mode was greyed out…Went back to v 2.34.
