Night&Day cycle GLSL

Hi! A WIP of night and day cycle. Many things have to be improved, but I don’t know if I’ll continue this stuff. Nevertheless, I share this file with you:

Important: You will need a 2.74.5 or > Blender’s version to run the file properly.

The night skybox is an adaptation of this shader (flickering stars): https://www.shadertoy.com/view/lsXGWH (from Beautipy)
The clouds is an adaptation of Martins Upitis cloudy skybox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ajg8Xi9hGVE
I added a sun and a moon mixed to the cloudy skybox and another skybox to simulate sunset.
I also used the new world API to animate horizon color.

Still remaining:

  • Better colors.
  • Random clouds (amount…).
  • Adapt all the code to synchronize transitions with day length.
  • Better transitions.
  • Better effect with the moon at the end of the night.
  • Enlighting clouds (I mean make shadows effects on the clouds)(I don’t know how to do that)
  • Code optimization.

Does your shader need textures? Because i see white lines but no night and day cycle.Maybe you forgot to pack the texture.My computer has amd.My blender version is 2.74.

I do not want to switch until it is on blender’s official website.
