had to give him more fingers so he could do that.
Mostly just took awhile making the environment and getting it decent.

This was the first WIP photo. I knew right off the bat, I wanted a goofy super evil looking villain lair, and I thought a big skull in a mountain would be the quickest route.

It looked super naked, so I added some trees, and started experimenting with how to communicate visually, who owned this evil lair.
I didnt like the flashy double lit up hologram logo eyes, so I made a stone version of the logo.
Moved the logo down, where it fit perfectly with the skeletons eyes. Red lights were put in the socket to further enhance evilness.
darker environment, because its always dark near evil lairs. More red lights around because, you know why.
highlighting the actual word part of the logo, changing the aspect ratio for the eventual mobile animation.
removed eye lights because it was just tooo red over there.
trying to figure out which camera angle would be best.
At this point, my buddy pointed out that the sharp contrast between the dark stone and the snow on the mountain made it nearly impossible to tell that it’s a skull. I think it was hard for me to tell I lost the skull because I was familiar with the geometry and viewport view.
I made the stone lighter, and added ambient occlusion to really get the creases and highlight its skullness.
played with the camera settings, and got my final render.
Final render took 55 minutes to do 1024 samples at 1080x1920. for the video, I just zoomed in on the image, no way I was gonna wait any longer.
I also ended up doing the animation of Mr. Algorithm in Eevee to save time. It’s not quite as nice as cycles, but its good enough for a joke I made in one day on a laptop.
