Ninja 250 (Updated)

Updated the images with a more appealing background. Also, I put a down payment on a blue ninja 250 so I changed the bike color accordingly.

I am buying this bike so I decided to model it. It still needs some work on the model and I always have trouble with lighting and rendering but I am starting a new project so I consider it done.

Nicely modeled bike!

A bit missing in the textures and lighting department. But that model is quite good.

you’ve done the hard part…finish it.

nice model.

Great model.

I always have trouble with lighting and rendering but I am starting a new project so I consider it done.

You’ll never get better at it that way.

Yeah I know. The truth is when it comes to 3D I love modeling more than everything. Once I’m done that, I do the lighting and rendering just to complete it. I have spent more time learning how to model than how to light or texture. I should really try to find some tutorials on lighting. I have a couple but I just can’t seem to make it look right.

I’m much the same really. But I’ve been improving my texturing a lot lately.

Thats a great looking model. With a decent light setup + a few materials, you could make some fantastic renders.

If you’re feeling lazy about setting up lighting, you could use indigo. It takes a long time to render, but you get very realistic lighting with little effort.

I’ll try that (I downloaded but when I export it I get a message about materials not having an Indigo material definitions???

Your models are quite good. If you could try some animation with that you can make some money.

Good job

Hmm, I’ve never had any problems with it. Have you downloaded the latest versions of indigo and blendigo off of the website?
