NLA Colors

All,

I am using the NLA editor and, for some reason, I see that a few keyframes are connected with solid colors between them. They are pink when unselected and turn yellow if I select a keyframe that is attached to the solid part.

What does this mean?
Why are some of my keyframes connected via this solid bar?
How did I create this solid bar, I simply used the I key to insert keyframes in the 3D view?

I click Help, go to the WIKI and do a search on NLA and there are no entries. Does someone have a link to a help page for the NAL editor?:confused:

Ahhh!

I see, the solid color represents a sustain or hold. The two keyframes are the same so a solid bar is drawn between them.
