NLA Revisited...

OK, I have looked at other posts, but none have given the answer to where are the offset bone or stride bone located in 2.5. Are they in the NLA, or are they located in the datablocks. I have been looking. Maybe they are not there any more.
Can somone point me in the right direction…

Thanks Darin

Here’s a post commenting on that:

Sometime ago there was a discussion about this:
http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=184705&highlight=walk+cycle
In the next to last post, I offer two workarounds for this, and the last post talks about walkcycles and has a link to another post that discusses the pros/cons of walkcycles a bit more in depth.

Basically, I’ve given up on this method and just hand animate it all…

I know this probably isn’t the answer you’re looking for…

Thanx Randy -

The links led me to everything I needed to know. I had a handful of 2.49 characters on walk cycles and following curves. Time to move on and animate.
