No ipo curve when creating path animation!

I make a circle surface following the path of a curve,
the animation work as i press alt+x,
however,
I cannot see the motion curve in the ipo curve editor,
did i set something wrong?

Also, I don’t now how to copy an object from one scene to anoth scene,
or from one file to anoth file, can someone help?

It is normal that you can’t see the ipo curve.

To copy an object from one scene to another one, select your object, in the space bar menu go in object , make links… , to scene and selct the scene.

The two object are linked (if you move one ,the other move) , to make the copied object unlinked go in the space bar menu, object, make single user.

And to copy from one file to another, go in File => Append, select the blend file and then select the object you want to copy.

Unless you select the “path” curve a speed ipo curve won’t be created for you and the pathlen field sets the speed of your animation. You can manually add a speed ipo and then the pathlen value will be ignored.
