No shadows with spotlight. I used to get them.

I can’t seem to get a spotlight to cast a shadow anymore.
I tried many tutorials and nothing seems to help.

I installed the newest Pyton, is that the problem? I didn’t set or change any settings in Python.

you didn’t press the shadow button in the render buttons

Thanks! I just noticed that. The buttons are small, even when I enlarge them. I accidently clicked the SET DEFAULT button a few days ago and that SHADOW button must have been deactivated during that time.

Currently, by default, the button is not activated when I create a new program. I’ll change that.
