I’m doing a Blender video tutorial: http://cgcookie.com/blender/2011/08/15/creating-foliage/ I downloaded the source files, and am trying to use one of the images from the source files. The image (a .png file) in the video shows as a transparent background. The same image shows as a transparent background in my image editor. The same image does NOT show as a transparent background in my Blender 2.63 program. The image doesn’t even look exactly the same. It looks somewhat the same, but not exactly. Any ideas on how to fix it so the image shows up as it’s supposed to in my Blender?

What does this mean ?
Add screenshots and a link to your blend file (including any textures packed into your blend using the File/External Data menu) http://www.pasteall.org/blend/
It’s fixed. The image became normal, i.e., transparent background, etc. when I enabled ‘premultiply’ in the texture menu (per instructions). One crisis over with, on to the next. ![]()
Thank you for the info and the link.
