Hi everyone!

In 2019, Nodevember introduced me to the amazing world of procedural nodes through Shader Nodes. I participated in the 2020 edition using Substance Designer, and in 2021 with PolygonJs (real-time 3D on the web).

In 2022, I couldn’t participate because I was fortunate enough to have a job I loved (and I actually think I landed that job thanks to my dive into the procedural world via Nodevember!).

In 2023, though, I was too professionally burnt out to join. I’d lost the job I loved, began doubting my own skills, and started feeling like an impostor. AI blabla everywhere

, which gave me mixed feelings, and I hadn’t found a stable project since then.

Now it’s 2024. This morning, reading the Blender Nation Newsletter, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the word “Nodevember.” So, I’m giving it a shot this year, tackling the challenge with Geometry Nodes!
I’m not sure what I will really do but let’s see, the global consistency of the prompt is inspiring!
