Non-python show-mouse demo! :D

I made a fake show-mouse demo. I don’t know how to implement this into your game, but at least it shows the mouse without a script! :stuck_out_tongue: (I added a showmouse script that I wrote just to show you that it works)

EDIT: THis only works with 2.25. :frowning:

very clever R2Blend

Hee hee, thanks!

P.S. WHere have you been, NOR.J?

I figured out a way to implement it. You make each object change the property of an empty to a given number for each object, then when you press LMB/MMB/RMB, it does something different according to the proprety of the empty.

Please experiment with this method, and vary it to your liking!

Well everyone need some days away from Blender,
So i went to Denmark with a friend for a week

Sorry, but could we please stay on topic?

o sure sorry yea i like this i will certainly play with it a bit.

Good!

I’m especially glad about these positive reactions.

I thought people might say stuff like: “Come ON, that method stinks!” or “Why do you think I would use that?”. I’m glad they’re not.

Also, could everybody who does something decent with, post the file here? It would be appreciated.

Also, remember to keep it PYTHON-FREE. That’s why it’s so special.

Python makes it easyer and better tho…
So why dont use it?

It was cool, but not many Nice looking girls :expressionless:
Most of them were very old…

But at least the wether was good some of the days

I got it to work fine on the 2004-07-22 BF Blender build.
By the way, I had never seen a game run this fast in Blender (85 fps here).

Really? With an ATI all-in-wonder Radeon9600, I can get some things to run at 200-250 fps. THose are only simple things, though.

P.S. The demo runs a little faster here.

if you turn off Vertical sync or something, you have from 200 to 350 fps on the most cards i think

Where at?
I´m running a NVidia GeForce 4 Ti here.

if you Right click on the desktop and hit properties, and then settings, and then advanced, and then click on the name of your card , you should find Vertical sync, turn that off. I dont know if it is on ATI cards…

I tried it on 2.33a and it works fine…

hhmm i will certainly post here with what i do with it.

I tried it here, and the MouseOver sensor didn’t work.
