Hi. Umm… Yeah. Haven’t been on here in forever, due to the fact my house no longer has a computer. Which also means I haven’t used Blender in probably a year. It’s a scary thought since I’m installing it on my uncle’s comp right now, and that I’ll probably be even worse than I was before. Can’t wait to try out these new features though.
well aren’t you a bunch of youngsters… haha weird that i can say that. old man voice i was registered here waay back in 2007 when Blender… umm… can’t remember back that far… but I’m sure it was a more difficult program than it is now. if i could learn it…

There was a poll somewhere but I couldn’t find it, about 2/3’s of the community is using 2.5 and the rest are still 2.49b (me too). However all the new tutorials rolling out are all for 2.5 so there’s no shortage of material for the new beta.
I remember you quite well actually. I changed my avatar, so I’m not sure if you remember me. Anyways, blender 2.5x has change greatly. I recommend setting aside “a lot” of time to re-learn blender 2.5x before trying to do any serious work.
BTW: Blender 2.54 is going to be release soon (if you can’t wait, compile it from svn).
