Even though I’ve been doing this a bit, I’m still pretty much a total noob. I have a pretty basic question.
Most tuts that I have completed try to keep the geometry mostly symmetrical. However, I’m currently trying to model a rose. I’m doing a leaf (vertice by vertice around the leaf) and when adding geometry I was wondering if it was important to try to keep the faces mostly symmetrical. I have been following the veins of the leaf (generally), to make depth and creasing easy. Am I going about it in a good way?
Thanks for your assistance.
